THE FLEET
OUR TRUSTY STEEDS!
In the Hearts & Tears MC garage we have a variety of bikes that we use depending on the specific tour. Our fleet is mainly comprised of the iconic Royal Enfield which is a mainstay for touring in the Himalayas. We stock the Royal Enfield Himalayan, a few vintage Royal Enfield Standard 350 & 500's, and the Classic 350 & 500. We also have a fleet of 250cc Enduro dirtbikes which are great fun when hitting the remote trails of the Annapurnas.
IN THE GARAGE
The Hearts & Tears MC clubhouse is located in central Pokhara. It is a large space that breathes
adventure with a not-so-subtle hint of grease and petrol on the nose.
We welcome riders and non-riders from around the globe to come visit us, say hello, and check out what we do.
THE HIMALAYAN 411
From Royal Enfield is the not so new Himalayan adventure machine. The company listened to their customers and finally gave us a built-for-purpose bike that is perfect when tackling the rocky Himalayas.
It boasts a 410cc high-compression engine with overhead cams (a first for Royal Enfield!), 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel with rear mono-shock.

The Royal Enfield Classic. A modern legend.
In the early 2000's with a new CEO at the helm, Royal Enfield started to modernise their workhorses which is when the Classic model was born. Still sporting the classic design and lines, Royal Enfield did away with many of the vintage quirks and installed a electronic self-start, 5-speed left-shift gearbox, hydraulic tappets, a Unit Construction Engine, and fuel injection. They're a pleasure to ride and are best worn in leather ;)
We ride the Classic model on the:

THE CLASSIC
ENDURO
With so many trails to explore throughout the Himalayas, many of them unmarked on maps, you need a bike with power and clearance to confidently head off-piste. That's where our 250cc Enduros come in.
Branded as the Crossfire 250, these bikes sport an aluminium CRF chassis, 30bhp engine, 6-speed gearbox, 118kg dry weight and a cracking exhaust to make sure the water buffalos hear you coming.
We use this bike on our ENDURO OPTION TOURS such as:

The Royal Enfield Bullet. Where it all began.
In 1955 when production of Royal Enfield left England and started in India, it was the Royal Enfield Bullet that started the slow-burning addiction for this vintage sports machine in southern Asia.
They sure are a quirky ride with antique British technology such as a wildly inaccurate right-shift 4-speed gearbox, kick-start only, point timing, and adjustable tappets. We love them!
Whilst we no loner ride these puppies on our longer tours, we instead set them aside for our enthusiast riding days which we call..... the BULLET EXPERIENCE.
