INTRODUCTION
Mongolia - just a whisper of the name makes the bones tingle for the thrill of adventure.

This tour is designed to give you an action packed 10-days starting from the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. The capital is surpisingly modern, but once you leave the pavement, it's days and days of lush green hills and mountains. The sheer magnitude of the steppe is profound and you will lose yourself in it's magnitude.
The tour crosses numerous rivers, traverses mountains, you will sleep in traditional ger camps (yurts) nestled next to turquoise blue lakes. We will stay with a local family and learn about their nomadic way of life.

Eagles soar overhead and wild horses run side by side with our own iron horses. The tracks give you a general bearing to follow - but there are no rules out here. Take your stead where the wind blows and conquer mountains. Feel the spirit of the mighty Ghenghis Khan.

ITINERARY
Day 1 - Welcome / Tour briefing in UB
Fly into Ulaanbaatar (UB) airport and transfer to the hotel. Tonight we have a tour briefing and get ready to hit the road the following morning.
Day 2 - UB to Elsen Tasarkhai
A quick ride out of the city will deliver you to your motorcycle. We then make our way to the hills and start the fun! It's a big first day in the green hills before reaching our traditional ger camp.
Day 3 - Elsen Tasarkhai to Orkhon Waterfall
After breakfast we ride to the Khongor dunes. At Bayandalai we’ll stop to refuel and ride right next to sand hills before having lunch. We then make it to the ranch style accommodation at Orkhon waterfall.
Day 4 - Orkhon Waterfall to Tayhar
From Orkhon waterfall, we ride mountain and forest tracks heading west to the village of Tayhar which the Tamir River passes through. We’ll see how the nomadic villagers live and enjoy their hospitality and local cuisine.
Day 5 - Tayhar to White Lake
Today might be short on kilometres but it will take the whole day to get to our destination. You will ride past the dormant volcano at Khorgo, then on to the freshwater Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake (also known as White Lake).
Day 6 - White Lake to Zurkh Lake
We head north to Zurkh Lake in the Khuvsgul province. It is surrounded by forests and is one of the most beautiful lakes in Mongolia. Not easy to find, let alone get to, you’ll be relieved to get off the bike at the end of day and put your feet up.
Day 7 - Zurkh Lake to Khuvsgul Lake
The Khoridol Saridag mountains on the western side of Khuvsgul lake are home to over 60 species of mammals. The Dukha reindeer herders are among the colourful people who live in this area.
Day 8 - Khuvsgul Lake to the Khoridol Saridag Mountains
We head into the mountains in search of nomadic families. We then take a challenging trail and climb high to amazing view point overlooking the lake.
Day 9 - Khuvsgul Lake Ulaanbaatar via Murun City
We ride south to Murun City enjoying the last day of riding in the incredible countryside. After many miles and adventures off the grid, we will fly back to the capital city, Ulaanbaatar.
Day 10 - Ulaanbaatar and home
We check out of the hotel and you may spend your remaining time sightseeing and last-minute souvenir shopping before we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
